Live Tucson Real Estate Update with Darren and Tony Ray – Episode 5

Good Morning, again! M’m still Tony Ray Baker with Tierra Antigua Realty. Today we’re going to talk about football schedules and Roadrunners, not the little birds, we’re going to talk about RoadRunners that play on ice 🙂 We’re going to talk about really fun things to do today and throughout this week, and I got a great app I want to talk about and some homes that you may not know about because they’re not listed yet! They’re a secret… Let’s get right to it!

Football Schedules

We sent Football schedules out, you should have them in your mailbox! If you’re not on my mailing list, then please call me at (520) 631-8669 or email me at TonyRay@SeeTucsonHomes.com and and we’ll mail it to you! U of A is playing tonight in downtown Tucson, Darren is going to talk more about fun stuff to do in just a little bit! We have some cool houses to show you!

5350 N Mount Lemmon Short Road Tucson, AZ 85749

5350 N Mount Lemmon Short Road Tucson, AZ 85749This is a really cool, contemporary house. The surroundings are amazing and the views are unsurpassed! Mountain views; you’ve got mountains and city lights like crazy! This is the front living room that overlooks everything, it’s just stunning! Check this out! It’s from the front living room, isn’t that amazing! This house just went on the market yesterday, please call us when you want to see it or when you have any questions. It’s one of a kind architecture and you can’t get a lot like this. The views, I can’teven explain to you how beautiful they are. The home for sale is located near Mount Lemmon and you could just stand and stare at the incredible views all day!

That just came on the market yesterday. We have that for you and a couple secrets!

New Condos and Lofts For Sale

There’s a new condo coming in; (we’re gonna have that next week, probably) ready to go that’s under $150,000 in downtown Tucson. You get access to the Light Rail and all the new restaurants, and, by the way, we’re going to have a show on all the new stuff that’s coming into Downton Tucson. It’s delicious! We’ve got a great condo coming under 150K and I’ve got another great condo at the Ice House Lofts complex that will be coming up soon. It is a beautiful, highly upgraded (around $70,000 in upgrades) loft home that’s in at just under $375K. It’s offers the ability to walk from the Ice House Lofts to downtown in about 6 or 7 minutes. The key is you can’t stop like I did at Barrio Brewery like I did; then it’s gonna take you longer 🙂

You get to walk right through Armory Park, which features stunning architecture, beautiful sidewalks and wide boulevards; it’s a great neighborhood! There’s a cool phone booth to stop in and take your picture, I’m not telling you where, it’s going to be a scavenger hunt to find the purple phone booth 🙂

Thank you very much for everyone’s interest on the Rosewood house: that was up for a couple days and it’s under contract! We have a beautiful 1200 square foot loft for sale that’s at the $275K price point. It’s a beautiful home with a high-end, designer feel and great views of the mountains and the storms! When you want to check that out, one of us will take you out to see it!

Why are we talking about homes for sale that aren’t on the market yet?

Here’s the thing: we get these houses in advance and we know that they’re coming and we share them with our clients and anybody that’s on our list. Because w know who to call, a lot of times we sell them to folks that get the chance to buy them before anybody else! If you want to be on that list, let us know !

Let’s talk about Fun Things to Do in Tucson!

Tonight is Second Saturday in Downtown Tucson! It should be a great evening in the 80’s. If you’re not familiar with Second Saturdays, it’s downtown and there’s tents and bands and vendors. There’s a lot of folks that like to come down to walk around or try out some of the restaurants from their food trucks. There’s a lot going on and they’ve got some of the streets blocked off so parking in the downtown area might be a little bit difficult.

Our tip would be to park down in the Mercado, take the Light Rail or uber into Downtown Tucson and come for a really fun time! That’s a key to success!

Also, we have the Sabino Canyon Night Rides. Sounds scary? It is a fun, moonlight ride up Sabino Canyon. You gotta make a reservation and they do it three times a month up through December. For more info, go to SeeTucsonHomes.com and click on the calendar. The Sabino Canyon Tours start the 13th or 14th and you ride the tram up the canyon. They have a guided tour, you get to see the animals that are out at night; there’s white-tailed deer and javelina and possibly a pterodactyl, atleast thats what it says on my notes 🙂 Go try it! Its a fun ride in really cool weather.

Scavenger Hunt: you get a group of friends together and do a phone app guided scavenger hunt. It has all kinds of interesting things involved with puzzles and fun locations. You meet at El Charros with your friends and you go live with your smartphone which gives you clues and puzzles and you gotta be kinda smart. It takes you on a scavenger hunt around downtown, you pick up clues, you get points and then you try to win! I haven’t played it but I really want to! Let’s get a bunch of friends and go do this!

Also, There is Some P2P Money Left

However, its over half-way gone. It’s going fast! That money’s running out quickly, they’re estimating maybe ending in October, so we gotta get you pre-qualified! Get in talk to us and we’ll see if we can get to set up to get a piece of that free money!

Tony Ray’s Tech Time

Last but not least, I’m going to give you another key to success: here is what you do when you get into downtown. If you’re going to use a parking meter, they have a great app! If you don’t know about it, the app is called GoTucson. Go on your smartphone you can use that app to pay for parking or the Light Rail right off your phone. You can buy tickets in advance for the Light Rail so when you get on you just hit the button.

This also let you go right up to a meter, you put in the zone and the meter number, and you can hit an hour and it charges the to your charge card. Now here’s my favorite part: you’re having lunch with friends and you have one hour in the meter, but lunch runs over and this thing starts honking at you on your phone, beeping to let you know you’re meter’s expiring. All you do to extend for another hour is hit the app and it will extend it and you can continue having lunch.

You can also use the Tucson Streetcar app to know where the streetcars are on the line as you’re standing there, so you can see how close they are coming up to you.

The Wrap Up

Have a fantastic time, the weather is cooling down, people are coming out! Downtown starting to kick it up again, which it always does in the fall, so get out of the house, stop watching television, cancel the cable, just come out and play! Thank you very much for stopping with this morning, if you want to reach us, call us at (520) 631-8669 and if you want to email us, you can e-mail Darren or Tony Ray @SeeTucsonHomes.com. SeeTucsonHomes.com is the website with the Things to Do Calendar and all the fun stuff we’re working on for you every day. Please stop by and thank you for being here with us at www.Facebook.com/SeeTucsonRealEstate .
