You already know that you’d like to eat more real food and less of the processed, packaged stuff… the kind that was created specifically for time-crunched schedules… the kind that, despite good intentions, has led to pretty much every health dilemma we’re facing, young and old.
Try taking some time to plan what you’re going to eat for the week, including when you’ll shop for it, and when you’ll prep it so you’ll actually make it when busy-ness happens.
There’s no right or wrong way to do this, it just takes practice to figure out what way works for you. I like to have a variety of chopped veggies waiting, along with a whole grain like brown rice, pasta or quinoa. I make a sauce or two in the Vita Mix and make sure I have some nuts and avocado on hand. With all of this ready to go, I can easily whip up a stir fry, wrap or bowl.
