It started one night about three in the morning. I’m sound asleep and the toilet flushed. How does that happen? A ghost? Is my bathroom haunted?
Ironically, it’s own as ghost flushing. It occurs when your toilet has a stopper that doesn’t seal right. As the days followed, the toiled got worse, I could hear the water draining throughout the day. Then, another ghost flushing occurred!
So, off to Ace Hardware and the discovery of HydroRight.
At first I thought it was too good to be true, but for $23.00 bucks, I figured it was worth a try.
With no tools and about 7 minutes of time, my water wasting ghost flushing toilet was converted into a water and money saving dual flush system. Similar toilets can cost hundreds of dollars.
It works great and it should save thousands of gallons of water! The box actually says that a family of four using just one toilet with the HydroRight should save an estimated 15,000 gallons of water per year which is equal to an estimated $100.00 per year.
