Spring Fling

Every Spring since 1974, University of Arizona students put together an amazing long weekend of fun for other students and Tucson residents called Spring Fling. Located on the University of Arizona Mall, is a huge carnival with rides, games, prizes, booths, food, and so many more things to do!

Spring Fling is different from other carnivals and fairs because it is run entirely by UofA students! Proceeds from the event go to clubs and organizations around campus.

If you love rides, you’ll definitely want to check out Spring Fling because they now have over 40 awesome rides. If rides make you queasy, don’t worry, there are tons of carnival games to play. There is also lots of live entertainment.

Spring Fling has a wide variety of food, too! Sponsors include, Papa John’s Pizza, Eegee’s, Jimmy John’s, and more. In addition, there are booths with food made by various campus clubs and local vendors!

Conveniently, if you’re near or on the UofA campus, the carnival is located at the end of the Mall in the heart of the campus. For parking, there is the Cherry St. Garage located next to the Arizona Stadium for a small fee. The garage is easily walkable to the carnival.

Admission to Spring Fling is $5, unless you are a UofA student, child under 7, or member of the military, in which case it’s free! Tickets for rides and games are sold individually, or in sheets.

This event is usually in April every year, and lasts from Friday through Sunday. We definitely recommend this cool thing to do in Tucson!
