Reid Park Zoo
The Reid Park Zoo is one of the most popular and well-frequented venues in all of Tucson. With hundreds of exotic species from around the world all placed in naturalistic habitats, you really get a taste of the world. The Reid Park Zoo can even be rented for special events (want to get married at the zoo?) and offers group discounts, so bring your friends! Darren and I just love to go and see what kind of wonderful attractions and events that they have to offer, so let’s get to it!
Reid Park Zoo: Activities
Meet and feed the Zoo’s giraffes. You can buy tickets at the admissions gate or at the Giraffe Encounter platform. Schedule and details here.
There’s a carousel located in the Zoo’s front plaza and features 30 different animal species from around the world. For just $3, you can ride a gibbon, anteater, or polar bear! Multi-ride tickets are available to see the admission gate or ask at the Carousel.

Pro tip: Always check the daily schedule at the Zoo gate for; Keeper Chats, training demonstrations, and activities for kids. They provide lots of opportunities for guests to interact with staff and observe animals in a new and interesting way.
