Football Schedules
We have football schedules, which we spoke about last week, and we have about 50 of these leftover, and we’re happy to mail these to you! Things To Do in Tucson
Trumpets and Tequila
We have some fun things going on that we’d like to talk about to for this weekend and next weekend 🙂 Tomorrow is Trumpets and Tequila, a brunch over at the Playground.that’s from 10a to 2p. Check it out!
Perfect Pantry
After brunch, there is a great little Privately owned shop, say hi to Amy, called Perfect Pantry, It’s right next to Johnny Gibson’s Grocery Stores, in between Congress and Broadway. Amy is the owner and she has great candles in there, soy candles, one she called Black Birch, which is my favorite 🙂 She’s got all kinds of stuff, part of it is Vintage Retro, there is some hilarious stuff in there, greeting cards, even kitchen stuff. The holidays are coming and shop now, avoid therush and buy local 🙂
Greek Festival
Also, put it on your calendar, next weekend is the Greek Festival! If you haven’t been to the Greek Festival before, it’s a great little event. They have music and dancing and cooking demos and food, beer, wine; it’s a lot of fun! If you like good food, this is your event! It only comes once a year, but it is a four day event, including: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Lets talk about the elephant in the room, we waited in lines many times to get into that event but never got into the event because we gave up waiting. So here’s the cool thing, we’re under the understanding that the committee on the Greek Festival has done everything this year to fix the problems that people were complaining about. Which include trying to get in the long line, so apparently they have two or three entrances now to help move people quickly through. I’m also hearing that they have more food stations, so you can actually get to the food 🙂
I guess they fixed things to make it bigger and better, so we’re excited about that, because we’re actually going to try to break in there this time. It’s supposed to be the new and improved Greek festival, so it’s really worth your time to go over and check it out!
The month of September, we were in Greece all last year with Lucy and our friends in Greece, hi everybody in Greece! I’m really bummed, we were gonna try to make it out there to visit everybody again, but we’ve been so crazy busy with real estate, we’re haven’t beed able to get a vacation. But we will be back, our friends in Greece, we love you guys and I miss being there that was a amazing month!

Chilli Festival
Also, I want to tell everybody about the Chilli Festival! For those of you who didn’t get a chance to drive out to Hatch, New Mexico, to go to the Chili Festivall! It kicks off at Traildust Town, which is our favorite little place that has some cool shops in there. They’re doing the Chilli Festival on Friday and into next weekend it continues with the Oro Valley Farmers Market, and then back to Rillito Park on Sunday.
They’re going to have live music and food, get your chili peppers they’ll roast them for you, it’s a lot of fun. So, next weekend you got a plan; go to Greek Festival on Saturday, then you do Chili Fest on Sunday over at Rillito.
Pathway To Purchase Program
Money is almost gone, P2P was wiped out really fast! As of Friday, there was less than $9 million dollars left out of the $48 million. If you get a contract in right now and try to reserve it, you possibly could take advantage of the money, but here is a key that i want to give you right now; don’t get hung up on Pathway to Purchase because we can negotiate 🙂 Which we just did! We can negotiate a different contract for you where you’re still not paying down payments or closing costs.
It’s all about negotiating that contract with the seller and how you write that up, and we just did it so now we know what we’re doing 😉 We can do that for you, so if you still want to use down payment assistance, you still want to getting with this little cost as possible, we are the key! Tony’s Tech Tips
Finally, there’s a cool app I want to talk about. The app is called Wink, but first of all you’re gonna go and get a Link light bulb by GE, these costs about $15 bucks at Home Depot. Here’s one of the cool things about these, they have sunlight and cool light or midnight, and they got different light bulbs with different variations of light. They feel differently in the house, i like the daylight one 🙂 These bulbs are LED, they last about 22 years, and they cost about a $1.50 a year to run one of these bulbs.
Here’s another cool thing; you could put a group of these in your living room and then you can program on the Wink App and then you can tell them to dim or go up and down at any time. You can program it so if you’re gone every night and you want to come home and have the house lit up, you tell this little guy you want the lights to turn on at six o’clock.
On vacations, have the lights go off and on while you’re on vacation! The lights could go off and on in different rooms and at random times and you you schedule it all with the App. You can’t do that for $15 bucks!
I was amazed, so we bought the kit, which cost $40, which gave me two light bulbs and a little teeny plug in the wall. All you do is plug it in and all sets itself up and then anytime you screw in a light bulb in it connects to the your system and your app shows it, it’s just amazing technology.
