Outdoor Things To Do

Agua Caliente Regional Park

The Agua Caliente Park sprawls across a hot spring. The water temperatures average 87 degrees for much of the year. While featuring an eventful history and many recreation options, this place should definitely be on your Tucson to-do list.

Additional amenities include; restrooms, picnic areas, and a beautiful green field for soccer and volleyball.

Whether you choose to attend the “Wake Up With The Birds” event featuring close encounters of various migratory bird species or the “Bats Up Close” exhibit with biologists netting and discussing bats, your whole family is sure to enjoy each presenter. There is even a “Lizard Walk” event to boot. This will allow the amateur reptile biologist in each of us to observe and learn more about the species of reptiles which inhabit the Southwest.
