Tucson Meet Yourself Festival
Tucson Meet Yourself Festival

The Tucson Meet Yourself Festival is one we highly recommend because it has all the makings of a great time for the whole family and the best part is that admission is FREE. There are folk artists, food vendors, craft vendors, health and wellness booths, and even an iron chef competition!

The Tucson Meet Yourself Marketplace features dozens of traditional artists selling their handcrafted items. You’ll also find musical instruments, recordings, traditional wear, crafts, and material goods. From O’odham baskets to Danish Christmas decorations, you’ll find one-of-a-kind items.

There are parking areas that are free. Parking garages if you want to pay or you can take a bus or bike in (be green).

The Details

This is a yearly event, so if you miss it this year, it will be back next year. Downtown Tucson has experienced a bit of cultural revitalization over the last few years and the Tucson Meet Yourself Festival is just one example of how downtown has become one of the destinations for must-attend events in Tucson. Downtown isn’t just for business anymore. It is also a fun and energizing place to learn and experience Tucson’s history. A celebration of the diversity that makes Tucson one of the most amazing cities! We have been to the festival and it is a lot of fun (good exercise, too, with all the walking).

The Tucson Meet Yourself Folklife Festival takes place in downtown Tucson. An easy to navigate layout covers these six main Festival areas: El Presidio Park, Jacomé Library Plaza, La Placita Village, Pima County Courthouse (Old Courts & Administration Plaza), Tucson Convention Center (TCC) Plaza & Leo Rich Theater, and Meet the Street area on Church Street. Each Festival area features performance stages, food vendors, folk arts, exhibits, and marketplaces. For a map, click here: http://www.tucsonmeetyourself.org/festival-info/map/
