Yes, you read the title correctly. Lemons!

Lemon, especially the peel, is a miraculous gift with a multitude of health benefits. In more than 20 laboratory tests since the 1970’s Lemon has been shown to destroy malignant cancer cells! The extract was proven to be 10,000 times better than Adriamycin, a chemotherapeutic drug that slows the growth of cancer. One of the reasons is because Lemon destroys the malignant cancer cells and does not negatively affect healthy cells. It keeps them strong and healthy. They are good for preventative care and have been proven to assist in cases where people already have cancer, slowing the growth of cysts and tumors and other various benefits.

Lemons have powerful anti-microbial properties, preventing and fighting against bacterial and fungi infections and are also effective against internal parasites and worms. Ever wonder why many home cleaning products contain lemon?

Lemon peel contains 5 – 10 times more vitamins than lemon juice itself and rejuvenates health and eradicates toxins from the body. Now that you know this, never ever waste the peel again. We should be using the entire lemon and especially the peel since it’s concentrated lemon. Surprisingly the peels tastes great! Especially when you zest the peel. Here are some great tips and tricks on what to do when life gives you lemons.

Here’s one of my favorite ways to enjoy tea – you’ll need one whole lemon frozen; a quarter cup of dry tea of your choosing and some boiling water. Simply place the ¼ cup of dried tea in a quart jar, grate the entire frozen lemon and pour boiling water to the rim, cover and leave out overnight. The next day strain and add a drop or two of (liquid) stevia and enjoy.

Tip* Use a cheese grater to zest the entire peel of your lemons and if the lemon is frozen you can grate the entire lemon! Sprinkle on salads; add to soups, sauces, drinks, smoothies, baked goods, anything really.
